Drummer Boy
This print was created from one of my original drawings of the drummer boy, inspired by the classic Christmas song, The Little Drummer Boy.
It features a drawing of the drummer boy and baby Jesus accompanied by a poem that reads:
No gift had he
Not one small thing to give the blessed new born king
And so instead, he came to play upon his drum that Christmas day
And when the infant stirred and smiled, his eyes upon the drummer child
The boy knew, though his gift was small,
his love had made it best of all
